Salud Portland brings a variety of fitness classes all under one roof.  We offer core, barre, bootcamp, kettlebells, pilates reformer and yoga by highly trained, professional and experienced instructors. We will offer events and workshops to help inspire, encourage and motivate all aspects of a healthy, balanced life.  Salud Portland is a safe space, a community for growth and a place for love and respect of everyone. 



A high-energy, fun and challenging workout that will get your heart rate up, lift your tush, tone and tighten all the right areas. Utilizing a ballet barre, this class incorporates isometric movements with resistance training. This class will work each muscle area, including arms, legs and abs until complete fatigue and finishes with a good stretch to lengthen muscles back out.



An interval training class that mixes calisthenics and body weight exercises with cardio and strength training. This class is designed to push participants harder than they’d push themselves and to always keep the body guessing. These routines are meant to help lose body fat, increase cardiovascular efficiency, increase strength, and help people get into a routine of regular exercise.



Pilates Reformer is a full body-conditioning program comprised of a series of approximately 500 designed movements. Pilates improves strength, flexibility, balance, control and muscular symmetry. The rhythmic exercises promote elongated and toned muscles, are noted for developing abdomen, lower back and buttocks strength and create a strong body core.


Roll out

We use foam rollers and lacrosse balls to work on stiff tissues and to prime the nervous system. Then we follow up the soft tissue work with active end range isometric stretches to help cement improved movement patterns. Our focus is to help reduce soreness from workouts, increase range of motion, and prevent injuries.



This vigorous and movement-based class features synchronized breath and fluid movement with occasional holds and refinements on alignment offered throughout the series. With an emphasis on the cardiovascular benefits of a flowing yoga style, this class will keep you moving through creative sequences of yoga postures.  Intermediate and advanced postures are offered for those seeking more.


Core infuses elements of Pilates with a full body workout, incorporating weights and torsion rings to add variety.  This variety of the exercises ensure that each class provides a total body workout that strengthens the core, tones the arms, hips, thighs, and flattens the abs. This class incorporates lots of plank poses in between exercises to maintain a higher heart rate throughout class, which keeps the students in constant movement.
